FREERIDE SESSIONS will give you the possibility to ride some of
the most beautiful slopes in BUlgarian mountains, get in touch with
local culture and visit places of natural and historical importance.
FREERIDE SESSIONS may be fully customized according to your trip
desires. Below you will find a short description of typical FREERIDE
SESSION programs
- Todorka peaks region,
Pirin mountains, Bansko ski resort, 7 Days trip
Day 1: Arrival to Sofia. Transfer from Sofia to Bansko resort.
Dinner in Bansko resort
Day2-6: Ski lift assisted freeriding along the vast slopes of
Todorka peak. They are famous for an unique combination of vast
open slopes, interesting couloirs and fantastic old forests. Vertical
drops vary from 700 to 1000m. At the end of Day 6 we will travel
back to Sofia.
Day 7: Sightseeing in Sofia, Departure
Options: One day of ski lift assisted
riding at the foot of Bezbog peak, Pirin mountains, Dobriniste
ski resort
One day of back country skiing in the region of Iavorov hut, Pirin
mountains (required ski adaptors (Alpine Treckies or other) or
randonee ski bindings)
Visit to Rila monastery on our way from Sofia (depends on hour
of arrival in Sofia) or on our way to Sofia
Visit of Lesten and Kovacevica historical villages and Ognianovo
mineral hot springs
We are also ready to offer great programs in case you would like
to explore the backcountry of Pirin mountains.
- Rila Lakes hut region, Rila mountains, 7 Days
trip
Day 1: Arrival to Sofia. Transfer from
Sofia to Rila Lakes hut. Dinner in Rila Lakes hut
Day2-6: Ski lift assisted freeriding in the region of Rila Lakes
hut. In the region there is a great variety of couloirs , which
are not very long but sometimes are quite steep. They offer a
great possibility for riding terrain with different difficulty
and master riding techniques, The region offers great possibilities
for back country skiing/snowboarding.
Day 7: Sightseeing in Sofia, Departure
Options: One day of back country
skiing at the valley of Maliovica peak, Rila mountains
Visit to the hot water mineral springs of Sapareva Bania and Belchin
Bania villages
Visit to Rila Monastery

to explore the backcountry of Rila mountains.
